After nearly 14 years at Finsbury Park Trust, former Executive Director and projects co-ordinator Talal Karim finally said goodbye at the end of August.
Our tenant organisations joined Jeremy Corbyn and our Chair of Trustees Clare Potter to wish him well in his retirement and thank him for his untiring hard work for the Trust over the years. They especially thanked him for coming out of retirement in 2020 to keep the Finsbury Park Trust and its buildings safe during the pandemic and leading the organisation so that it could appoint a new Executive Director.
Felicity Ford, Executive Director of the Trust, said: ‘Talal has made an enormous difference to the people of Finsbury Park for over a decade. He has been a well-known and well-respected figurehead for our organisation and under his guidance the Trust enabled changes to improve the lives of local people. I’m looking forward to being able to build on his successes to lead the organisation to even better things to come.’
